Ross Mickel

Following the the transformative joint venture with an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management (Cerberus), Ross Mickel became a Director of Mac Mic Strategic Land in October 2025.

Ross is also a Director and forth generation of the Mickel family to work at Mactaggart & Mickel. He joined Mactaggart & Mickel in 2006, working as a site manager before becoming Managing Director of the Timber Frame company. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Mactaggart & Mickel and ensuring this is aligned with the larger vision of the wider family.

He focuses on the £80m PRS portfolio both in Edinburgh and London, creating and managing the strategic goals for this area of the business.

He has oversight of the investment portfolio, governing the investments made by this part of the business.

As a family member and custodian of the company he is focused on the long-term growth, diversification and strength of the business to ensure a profitable and successful future for the next generation of family members.
