Mac Mic Group Appoints Chris Wright as New Senior Planning Manager for Scotland

Mac Mic Group, a leading UK land & property company, has announced the appointment of Chris Wright as its new Senior Planning Manager for Scotland. Chris joins the Glasgow-based team, bringing a wealth of experience in land planning and development across various sectors.

Chris graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Master’s Degree in City Planning and Real Estate in 2012. He began his career in planning consultancy at GVA where he qualified as a Chartered Town Planner before transitioning to the strategic land sector with Gladman Developments in Scotland. Most recently, Chris spent the last three years as a Land & Planning Manager at Dandara Scotland progressing land and planning on their short-term and strategic portfolio.

Chris will play a key role in Mac Mic Group's Scottish operations working alongside Bruce Hampton, Regional Land Director for Scotland, to manage the promotion and development of the company's large-scale strategic master plan sites at a critical time in the Scottish planning system. He will also focus on maximising the potential of existing legacy sites, securing planning approvals for potential sale or development.
