Huge congratulations to Chris Young KC, who took part in this year's London Marathon this past Sunday. Not only did Chris complete the gruelling 26.2-mile course, but he did it while impressively dressed as a house – all in support of Shelter. This wasn't Chris's first time taking on the challenge in such a unique way, and his dedication paid off. He surpassed his fundraising goal, bringing in £22,000 He surpassed his fundraising goal, bringing in £22,000 for the homelessness charity.
Homelessness is a critical issue affecting many in our society. Rising living costs and a lack of affordable housing, exacerbated by political and planning hurdles, all contribute to this growing problem. Chris's dedication to raising awareness for homelessness, a cause close to our hearts, is truly inspiring. We were incredibly proud to support his phenomenal fundraising efforts through a donation from our Mac Mic Foundation.
We extend a big congratulations to Chris, and to all the runners who participated in the London Marathon.
