Mac Mic Group’s South West Strategic Land team has moved to offices at Aztec West, Bristol as the land and property group looks to further grow its portfolio in the region.
Mac Mic Group has relocated to The Aztec Centre from premises in Cheltenham to draw on Bristol’s status as a hub for the region’s property industry, and benefit from Aztec West’s strategic location, with its excellent transport links.
The move comes as the Group’s South West Strategic Land team looks to invest significantly in its portfolio of strategic land, which already includes 23 sites.
The investment is part of a wider investment plan, led by CEO Paul McAninch, that will include growing the Group’s total English strategic land revenue by £33m over the next five years.
Ken Hopkins, Head of Strategic Land at Mactaggart & Mickel Group, comments: “Bristol is the ideal base for the team given our aim of becoming the ‘go-to’ partner for identifying suitable, potential development land across the wider South West area.
“The city lies at the heart of the region’s property industry, while Aztec West is easy to access thanks to its proximity to Junction 16 of the M5, and the transport hubs of Bristol Parkway railway station and Bristol airport.
“We’re looking forward to building our portfolio in the region as we work with local councils, land owners, housebuilders and communities, to unlock capacity and bring forward opportunities to create homes where they are needed.”
